The Best Skin Care Products for Sensitive Skin

First I would like to disclose that everyone’s skin is different. Some products that work well for me may not work well for others. I have oily and acne-prone skin. I have finally found a skincare routine that works well for me and I feel that sharing what I use may help someone who has similar skin!

  1. CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

As I stated before my skin is naturally oily, so I do not use much to add additional moisture to my face. If I did then I would constantly be blotting my face! My dermatologist recommended that I try this lotion and I love it. It provides just enough moisture so that my skin stays hydrated, but does not contribute to it being oily or clogging my pores.

2. Neutrogena Acne Face Wash

This face wash has really helped stop me from having such a vast amount of breakouts. I definitely have hormonal acne, so if my cycle starts my acne gets so much worse. I’m going to be honest with you, this did NOT stop my breakouts. I still get them every month, but it did reduce the amount of breakouts that I normally have. Most of the time I have breakouts all over my chin, forehead and cheeks, but now I only get a couple here and there. If you really are wanting to try something to help with breakouts then just give this a try. It’s inexpensive and could really help you.

3. Burt’s Bees Lip Scrub

Anyone else hate peeling lips? It’s constantly happening to me! I’m always applying lip balm but I still struggle with not having smooth lips. This lip scrub is the perfect amount of moisturizing and abrasive. It’s perfect to help you achieve soft lips, which I really appreciate– especially when I’m wearing lipstick!

4. Eva Naturals Skin Clearing Serum

This serum is great for reducing discoloration. I have dark spots from acne scars and this has helped to fade them. I don’t use this every day, but if I did I’m sure my scars would be gone by now. The only down side that I would say is that it does slightly sting to apply. I have sensitive skin, so it did slightly burn the first time I applied it, but after a few uses it did not bother me. Also it does have a potent smell, but this gets the job done.

5. New York Biology Dead Sea Mud Mask

This mud mask is the PERFECT product for sensitive skin. It helps reduce acne and remove blackheads and it gives your skin a smoother look and feel. A little goes a long way with this product so you will get your money’s worth out of it! This mud mask is like a gift to your skin! If I could only us one product it would be this!

Let me know what your favorite skincare products are! As always, thank you for reading along!
