Recently I made some yummy potato wedges! You know it’s good when your husband compliments you on them multiple times! The recipe is sooo simple and they don’t take long to make.
Salt , Pepper, Ground Basil, Paprika and Garlic Powder
What you’ll need:
Sheet Pan or oven-safe skillet
Cooking oil (I used vegetable oil)
Golden Potatoes – for this recipe I only made enough for two people and it only required three potatoes
Prep time: 5 minutes
First, cut the potatoes into your desired shape. Each potato wedge should only be 1/4 inch thick. The thicker you cut them the longer your bake time!
After they are cut, transfer your potatoes into your bowl. From there you will season your potatoes with 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper and one teaspoon of all other ingredients.
Take 1 tablespoon of oil and dump it into the bowl of potatoes. Massage the potatoes with the oil to ensure they are evenly coated.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
Place potatoes on your baking sheet/oven – safe pan and place them in the oven on the middle rack. Leave the potatoes uncovered.
After 15 minutes in the oven, flip wedges over on the baking sheet to get an even crisp layer. Then place them back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes total.
My family loves these served with hot wings. Let me know what you eat yours with in the comments!
